GNRC Media Fellowship Program announced

GNRC Hospitals in association with Guwahati Press Club has announced 4th GNRC Media Fellowship for the journalists. The fellowship is open to working journalists, who should be attached with the print and electronic media of the region.

The fellows will get the opportunity to study and report about the new technology related to heath care facilities, overall health care scenario of Assam and accessibility of common people to such developments.

Dr Nomal Chandra Borah, CMD of GNRC Hospitals has confirmed about the fellowship today to the GPC secretary.

Three selected fellows will receive Rs. 10,000 (rupees ten thousand only) per head per month. They have to publish/broadcast/telecast three stories every month out of their experience and understanding. Interested journalist may apply for the same with a small CV and a write up explaining why he/she wants to join the fellowship (with 300 words) by November 20 to the office of press club. The fellowship will start from December 1, 2010.
