Girl dies of encephalitis

The killer Japanese encephalitis has claimed yet another life spreading panic across the state. At least 5 five others have been battling for life in hospitals.

Identified as Bobby Sonowal, the college girl from Majuli died on Monday wee hours at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital in Guwahati where she was undergoing treatment.

With this, the toll in this killer disease has gone up to four forcing the authorities to take up measures to firmly deal with the situation.
