Flood and landslip wreak havoc in Guwahati

Parts of Guwahati have been reeling under rainwaters following the incessant rains that lashed Guwahati on Monday night. The surging waters of the river Bharalu have submerged Naveen Nagar, Zoo Road, Pub-Sarania and Mathura Nagar with waist deep water.

On the other hand, the killer landslip has claimed one more person in the city on Tuesday. The incident took place in Shantipur area in the wee hours. There are reports of landslip in Chandmari and Kahilipara area.
