Extortionist held in Udalguri

DIMAKUCHI: Army jawans on Thursday claimed to have captured a hardcore rebel in Udalguri who has been unleashing terror in the form of extortion for the last couple of weeks.

Acting on a tip off, the Red Horn division jawans picked up Mukuta Boro as he was on the way to Khairabari to extort money.

A pistol along with a magzine was seized from his possession. Interrogation is going on to extract more details.
