Encounter in Dhemaji: NDFB cadre arrested

Police arrested a hardcore NDFB cadre after a heavy exchange of firing in Dhemaji district on Wednesday.

The fierce encounter took place in the afternoon during a search operation by the security forces. The militants managed to escape the spot amid darkness. The arrested militants was identified as Kumar Narjary who hails from Kokrajhar.
