Economic blockade against Nagaland

Surface communication with Nagaland remains heavily disrupted on Wednesday following the economic blockade in Sivasagar district. Hundreds of people blocked the road leadin to Mon at Namtola in protest against the murder of a driver on Tuesday. 

Altogether 8 local organisations have organised the blockade demanding action against the perpetrators within the next 24 hours.
