EC team on stock taking visit

A three member delegation from the Election Commission is on a stock taking visit to Guwahati on Sunday.

The delegation reviewed the state’s over all law and order situation at a meeting of deputy commissioners and superintendent of police at the Administrative Staff College on Sunday.  

The commission is expected to announce the Lok Sabha poll schedule in a day or two.
