Eastern Beats Music Society executive meet held

Executive body meeting of Eastern Beats Music Society held at India Club on Wdnesday. The meeting was chaired by Assam Chief Information Commissioner, former DGP and Eastern Beats Music Society chairman DN Dutt. Ace violinist Minoti and Sunita Khaund, veteran guitarist Utpal Barsaikia, Amlandeep Das, tablist Pawan Bordoloi, writer-activist and EBMS secretary Aiyushman Dutta, Peter Alex Todd and Mizi Kro, Indraneel Choudhury, Rupam Bora, amongst others were present in the meeting.

Eastern Beats Music Society is the first registered music society of the State dedicated towards harnessing the healing powers of music. It has successfully tested the healing powers of music in strife-torn parts of the Northeast, like Karbi Anglong, NC Hills, Dimapur and being part of Freedom Jam on the streets of Guwahati every August 15.
