DGP in Kokrajhar

DGP Khagen Sarma is on a stock-taking visit to Kokrajhar on Thursday.

Sarma held a high level meeting at the Circuit House in Kokrajhar with the BTAD’s top police officials. He further asked police and para military forces to intensify counter offensive against NDFB, KLO and ULFA.

The review of the law and order situation assumes significance three days after suspected NDFB-S militants kidnapped a businessman from Chirang district.
