Court slams hospital, jailor

A local court in Karimganj has ordered action against central jail authority along with a group of doctors for violating jail rules. 

After an enquiry, the session court ordered suspension of Karimganj central jail superintendent DK Barua for allowing Siddique Ahmed to be shifted to Silchar Medical College Hospital from the Karimganj civil hospital during his judicial hospital without any approval of the court. 

The court further ordered action against the doctors who facilitated the former minister to be shifted citing deteriorated health.
