Cong leader joins AGP

In yet another setback for Congress, former MP Madhab Rajbanshi joined the Asom Gana Parishad on Tuesday.

Rajbanshi, the two time MP from Mongoldoi joined the regional party at a brief function at the party headquarters in presence of president Prafulla Kumar Mahanta.

Notably, Rajbanshi who is a strong Koch Rajbanshi leader was put out of the race for Congress ticket to contest from Mongoldoi constituency.
