CM denies dissidence

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi straightly denied any dissidence within the party legislators.

Addressing a press conference at Rajiv Bhawan on Wednesday, Gogoi said that all legislators would help the party ensure a commendable performance in the election.

He said that difference among the party legislators are not new in a huge ruling party. But only to be kept in abeyance. He said that he has given the legislators chances to air their grievances.

He said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma convened a meeting of a section of his colleagues at his residence on Tuesday evening only after taking his ascent.
