Cabinet expansion on the cards

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is all set to expand his cabinet very soon. Gogoi who got the seal of approval from party high command in New Delhi is expected to move the governor soon for the swearing in ceremony.

Sources told Assam Times Gogoi, initially found it quite difficult to get his own men inducted in the soon to be expanded ministry. Dr CP Joshi, Ahmed Patel et al wanted a circle of legislators who have been secretly doing dissidence against Gogoi.  But finally he convinced the high command before he was allowed to induct four new faces.

He submitted the list of the ministers last month when he visited  New Delhi. But he failed to meet the Gandhis. He finalized his list in consultation with PCC president Anjan Dutta who is his trusted man.
