BJP announces bypoll candidates

 Bhartiya Janata party has announced the name of Dilip Paul for Silchar bypolls while Sanjoy Thakur will contest the polls from Lakhipur.

The party has announced Billauddin Ahmed’s name in Jamunamukh. The bypolls will take place from 7 in the morning on September 13 while the results would be available on September 16.

The process of filing nomination starts on Wednesday. /
