Bikers killed in mishap

Two youths were killed when their motorcycle hit a stranded truck near Raha on Saturday.

The tragic incident took place in the wee hours at Bagariguri when the duo, identified as Khalil Ali and Pharidul Islam, were riding on their two wheelers.

Suddenly, they were believed to have lost control over the motorcycle bearing No ML
- 09-A-3676 hit the bamboo laden truck bearing No AS-01P-0183. Both they died on the spot. The bodies were sent for post mortem.

Meanwhile, a pall is gloom is descended in Manipurtoop village where the deceased were born and brought up. A case has been registered in Raha police station.
