Bandh cripples normal life
The country wide shutdown cripples normal life in Assam for the second day on Thursday.
The peaceful bandh has partial response in interior areas of the state. Public transport remains completely off the road and many private offices and banks remaining closed. Train movement, however, remains untouched.
