At least 9 dead as bus collided head on truck at Dergaon

A night super bus collided its head on a speeding truck at bus at Bongaon near Dergaon on its way to Tinsukia at around 4:30 amon Sunday. At least 9 people died, 20 others injured in the incident. Injured have been immediately rushed to the Jorhat Medical College. The condition of 5 of the injured person is stated to be serious. The reason of the accident has yet to be ascertained. Top ranked police and civil officials have rushed to the spot. Investigation is in progress.
