Assam trader shot dead in Dimapur

Dimapur hits media headlines again after unidentified miscreants shot dead a businessman from Assam.

The incident took place at SP Colony in the commercial hub of Nagaland on Saturday evening when unidentified gunmen shot dead Dipankar Dey.

The reason has yet to be ascertained. Police have not arrested anybody in this connection.

The incident took place hardly two months after gunmen shot dead a businessman from Jorhat in Assam for refusing to pay ransom.
