And the Best person to Head such a vigilance commission for corruption cases in Assam is Akhil Gogoi. Whom will the Assam govt appoint as the commissioner is to be seen.... If not Akhil Gogoi, all this talk about a commission to check corruption is another government sponsored gimmick.

A "vigilance commission" should ideally be headed by a men of reputation of not being/ proven Corrupt or been known fighter against corruption. With all respect to Mr. Akhil Gogoi and his past activities he is not renowned for this particulate trait but renowned for many other admirable traits and his fighting qualities. Hence, he can't be MEDICINE for all ILLS. With all respect to lady Pallavi, the sugession may be ill founded.
