Anup reluctant to join talks!
The much-hyped ULFA government peace process seems to have been depending on Anup Chetia.
The ULFA leader is believed to have been averse to join the peace process which is why, he is not in a mood to be repatriated from Bangladesh. Chetia is yet to make his decision formal even after he met two pro talk ULFA leaders in Dhaka last month.
Chetia was urged to withdraw his plea before the Bangladesh apex court seeking political asylum. Chetia’s reluctance is expected to be a big blow to the peace process.
