Amcheng eviction stopped

Even after the end of legal hurdle, forest department has summarily stopped the eviction drive inside the Ancheng reserved forest apprehending outbreak of public violence. 

The move to resume the drive in the forest area in the outskirt of Guwahati city was taken at a meeting of the top ranked officers and forest minister Pramila Rani Brahma on Monday.
