Akhil discharged from GMCH

Police on Friday suddenly took away Akhil Gogoi from Guwahati Medical College Hospital hours after he was rushed to it following the complaint of back ache.

“He was taken away through a special gate of the GMCH to avoid his supporters who were thronging the hospital premises to a glimpse of him from early in the morning,” said a KMSS activist.

“A special team of doctors closely examined his health and prescribed medicines for immediate relief and was discharged,” said sources.  

Amid tight security police rushed Gogoi to the Hospital a day after they received directives from the sessions court.
