Akhil, 2 others sent to jail

The Kamrup Chief Judicial Magistrate on Friday ordered judicial remand for Akhil Gogoi when police produced the KMSS president along with two other associates in the court.

Police registered yet another case against Gogoi. However, police have not sought Gogoi in custody in connection with that case.

Amid tight security, Gogoi and two of his associates were taken to the Guwahati Central Jail after the court passed the order. He would be produced in the court on March 19.
