AGP, BJP, AUDF trying to disrupt Cong prospect

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi says BJP, AGP and AUDF have been unitedly trying to stymie the Congress poll prospect. Addressing a crowded press conference at the Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati on Friday, Gogoi hoped the people would vote Congress in view of good performance of his government. He said the UPA government at the Centre was much better than the NDA government. Gogoi further said the by and large peaceful polling in Assam is also a strong message for the trouble mongers operating in Assam.

The Chief Minister said the electioneering mud-slinging is over and that his government would again resume developmental activities. Taking a dig at Mukut Medhi for his recent disclosure of ULFA's cash demand, Gogoi said its nothing but a biased one saying the government is forced to take action in this regard.
