Action on Akhil Gogoi

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that action would be taken against Akhil Gogoi in connection with the recent self immolation incident in Dispur.

Disclosing this at a press conference in Guwahati on Friday, chief minister Tarun Gogoi said that enquiry is in progress to unearth the truth behind the entire shocking incident.

On February 25, a KMSS activist died after self immolation attempt in Dispur in protest against a land patta distribution function in the city.
