AASU members burn CM’s effigy at Raha

All Assam Students’ Union ( AASU ), Raha unit members today burn the effigy of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at 11 am at Raha Natun Chariali in protest against his recent statement issued in support of the post-March 25, 1971 migrants.

Criticising the Gogoi government for its total failure to identify and deport illegal migrants from Assam , AASU members said that Tarun Gogoi should resign from his post of Chief Minister for his pro-Bangladeshi stand .
