AASU meets Sahitya Sabha
AASU and Asom Sahitya Sabha have vowed to jointly fight for restoration of Assamese as the official language in the state.
The resolution got its final shape when the student leaders held a crucial meeting in Guwahati with the state’s largest literary organization on Monday.
Assam Accord also figured in the meeting where Sahitya Sabha, further, assured the AASU leadership of help to intensify the agitation for speedy implementation of the historic Accord.
