A rare show of portraits in the city

An exhibition of portraits of many distinguished personalities in water colour at State Art Gallery Guwahati attracted the attention of art connoisseurs on Sunday. Organized by Tinsukia Durgabari Music College, the show included 114 artworks of energetic portrait painter Sankarshan Parua.


Eminent artist Noni Borpuzari inaugurated the exhibition titled Tulikar Parasat Jiwanta Dapon, where painters Manoj Roy, Champak Borbora, Rajen Khound, Bankim Chandra Gogoi, singer Rumi Goswami, journalist Nava Thakuria were also present.
