Freedom fighter and one time close aide of Netaji, Umesh Chandra Devchaudhory on Wednesday demanded that the Mukherjee Commission report should be made public to unearth the circumstances leading to the death of Subhas Chandra Bose.
Remembering Netaji on his 112th birth anniversary, Mr Devchaudhory said that the leader was killed during the Nehru regime. Quoting an Ananda Bazaar Patrika story, he observed that Netaji did not had a natural death and was killed. He said the people should know the reason behind the mysterious death of Subhas Chandra Bose.
The Netaji took up arms for an independent India. But a gulf of difference is these between the demand for India’s independence and ULFA’s demanded for an independent Assam. Any question for independent Assam does not arise as Al Quida has been controlling the world’s terrorist forces and ULFA is one of these to be dominated by it, he said adding that ULFA problem will not be solved and that’s why there is no need of peace talk.
