An Entrepreneurs Awareness Programme was organized by Gram Vikas Parishad on February 19 at Rangaloo with the financial assistance from Khadi & Village Industries Commission at Rangaloo, Nagaon district. More than 120 youths of the district participated in the event and of which 20 were selected for Entrepreneurs Development Programme (EDP). The selected entrepreneurs will undergo 12-days training in the same campus fromFeb 21 till March 5. Kamal Hazarika, Functional Manager of DICC, Nagaon was attended the EAP programme as a resource person and he delivered lecture on KVIC activities and procedure for obtaining loan and how to filling up application under different Margin Money Schemes (MMS) of KVIC. Dr. Abu Hanifa, Senior Journalist was also say on this matter. Sirajuddin Ahmed, General Secretary briefly described the objectives of the programme and Abdul Mannaf presided over the meeting.

After days of will-they-won’t-they, police have arrested Akhil Gogoi on Sunday in connection with the recent protest in Kaziranga.
