In love with 'Assamese Theatre'

When it comes to experiencing rich cultural heritage of Assam , its theatre presents the life full of combination between reel life and real life. Compare to dying state of theatres elsewhere, it is really welcome sign that Assamese people not only love it, but they can defy adverse winter season through chilled night to entertain themselves.

Icing to the cake is the way Assamese cinema artists contribute to its theatrical extravaganza through acting, back-stage support and technical know-how to divide the gap between amateur theatre with its reel counter-part. Really, the professional approach through man-machine combine make the Assamese theatre an awesome experience not only for local people but its worthy experience for me too as being in love with Assamese theatre though language is still not very familiar to me. With the hope that the journey of Assamese theatre will take its journey to long time beyond geographical boundary of Assam, I’m keeping my finger crossed to watch it with my little familiarity of Assamese language, but the culture has no bar, so I’m in love of it as an Assamese would have proud to be associated with it.
