Literary Pension Awardees 2007-08 announced

The name of the people who have been for literary pensions-2007-08 have been declared by the Government of Assam on Monday Evening. The awardees are Chitralata Phukan of Janji, Sivsagar; Ahalya Gogoi of Kharghuli, Guwahati; Dr. Taruna Thakur of Nehru Park, Jorhat; Lakhi Probha Gogoi of Dibrugarh; Beuti Rahman of Nagaon; Dipika Bhattacharya of Jor Phukhuri, Ujan Bazaar; Binapani Barkataki of Jail Road, Jorhat; Dr. Thaneswar Sarmah of Narikal Basti, Guwahati; Lakshmi Narayan Knowar of Meena Para, Mangaldoi; Joykanta Sarmah of Ambikagiri Nagar, Guwahati; Baneswar Basumatari of Kokklabari, Patacharkuchi; Dr. Chandradhar Chamua of Dhakuakhana, Lakhimpur; Sheman Thapa of Chitalmari, Sonitpur; Sibananda Sarma of Sachal Path, Guwahati; Sarifuddin Ahmed of Patacharkuchi, Barpeta; Ganesh Ch.
