Assam Association of Delhi to contribute to Flood Victims of Assam…New Body elected

New Delhi: The Assam Association of Delhi is in the process of collecting funds and all essential items for the flood effected people of Assam. The Association is aiming to donate about Rs. 2 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. It would be distributing the essentials amongst the people through a foolproof network.

In case you are interested in contributing for the cause, you can send in your contributions to: Srimanta Sankaradeva Bhawan, A 14 B Qutub Institutional Area, Satsang Vihar Marg, New Delhi 110067. Cash payments to be deposited at the counter against receipt or payments can be made through Cheque/Demand Drafts favouring ‘Assam Association, Delhi’. Donations from abroad will be received through the FCRA* account at SBI (*write to GS at assamassociation@gmail.com for details). Meanwhile, a new executive committee of the Assam Association has been elected. Group Capt.(Retd.) A. C Barua and Dr Hareswer Deka have been elected the President and General Secretary of the Association.
