Sashanka killing a conspiracy: Bhimkanta

The killing of ULFA cadre Sashanka Baruah is a conspiracy alleges Ulfa’s political adviser Bhimkanta Burahgohain also popularly known as Mama. The senior member of the ULFA who has been languishing in jail after being captured in Bhutan was produced before the Tezpur court on Wednesday. He told the waiting reporters that the Sashanka’s death was a planned murder.

According to Bhimkanta Burahgohain,” It’s a conspiracy that has been running for the last many days.”

Sashanka’s brother in law has alleged that both Mama and ULFA vice president Pradeep Gogoi were behind the killing of the second lieutenant. Three senior army officers deposed before the court against mama and two others Amarjyoti Gogoi and Balin Das. Mama along with two others were captured during the Operation All Clear launched in Bhutan on December 15, 2003.
