Fresh tremor shakes Manipur
A mild 3.0 magnitude earthquake jolted the north eastern state of Manipur striking no less panic among the people on Sunday.
Originated in Ukhrul, the tremor was felt in many parts of the state at 2.07 in the afternoon forcing the people in yhr high rise buildings to come down to the space. There was no report of any loss of life and property.
“As I reached home from the Church suddenly I saw my house started shaking. Then me and my wife and son came out of the house fearing the rerun of the 2015 massive one,” said D’com Singh in Churachandpur area.
Last week the princely state was rocked by two back to back quakes with a period of 18 hours.

In yet another wave of violence, suspected Kuki militants have launched a fresh attack on Meitei villages in peripheral areas of Manipur.
