The Dibugarh police probing the APSC scam on Friday filed its status report before a special Court in Guwahati with details of 25 ACS and APS officers who allegedly paid cash to chairman Rakesh Paul and his closed associates to ensure selection.
The police have furnished the forensic findings of the signatures of a section of the officers who got selection in APS, ACS and allied services resorting to bribing.
During the probe, the police sent some answer scripts and handwritten specimen of these officers to nearly a dozen of forensic laboratories three months back.
Headed by senior IPS officer SS Panesar, the investigating team has submitted the forensic reports along with the status report before the court a couple of days all accused except the chairman Rakesh Paul managed to procure bail.
