AAMSU stages dharna in Kokrajhar

The All Assam Minorities Students Union(AAMSU) termed that BJP led alliance government totally failed while fulfilling peoples’ aspectation and aspiration in the state.The students union stages two-hour sit-in-dharna in front of DC office in Kokrajhar,demanded early distribution of textbooks to the schools, implement RTE act and appoint teachers in the schools against vacancies across the state.

Hundreds of students union activists and common publics join hnads with banner and placards in the two-hour sit-in-dharna beginning from 11 am on Tuesday in Kokrajhar district,shouted slogans demanding solution and fulfillment of various demand and grievances,which included immediate distribution of textbooks,appointment of teachers under RTE act acoss the state,provincialisation of venture school/Madrasas in the state.The students union submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister of Assam through Deputy Commissioner,Kokrajhar.

Anowar Hussain,president of Kokrajhar district unit AAMSU said that the state government tatally failure while distributing textboks as well required materials in the state.He has demanded early distribution of textbooks among school children in the state.
