100 Amar Dukan in Udalguri

To keep a tab in the soaring prices of essential commodities and thereby provide consumers products at cheap rates the Food and Civil supplies department of the state government formally inagurated Amar Dukan stall at Udalguri on Friday. Amar Dukan stall was formally inagurated at Golma Chowk by BTC EM Tridip Daimari.

Sadhana Hojai DC Udalguri attending the programme said " The prices of essential commodities would be provided at low rates at such stalls."

It is pertinent to mention that 40 shops at Udalguri subdivision and 60 shopsat Bhergaon subdivision were upgraded to Amar Dukan stalls to provide every commodities at cheap rates lower than the MRP informed Udalguri Food and Civil supplies authorities.

The people of the district have also hailed the decision of the Udalguri Food and Civil supplies department and district administration to open such stalls which would give people some sort of relief from the soaring prices of the commodities.

But it will be only race of time that to what extent such stalls runned by unscrupulous people give relief to the agonizing people.
