National Service Scheme (NSS) of Dimoria College in association with Rajiv GandhiNational Institute of Youth Development conducted 5 days Training of Trainers (ToT) on Employability Skills for NSS Volunteers and other students from 23rd April to 27th April at its campus premises. It was organised to make a team of young pool of resources as trainers on employability and also to enhance their employability skills. Different topic like employability skills, personality development, resume writing, developing positive attitude, group discussion, interview skills , understanding employment ,skills & assets for employability ,understanding communication, understanding team work, problem solving skills, decision making skills , understanding of reliability, lifelong learning, agility and adaptability, how to overcome inhibition , understanding confidence and Self presentation, concept of personal responsibility, conflict resolution in career, career planning, job analysis and self analysis, etc.
Resource person in the ToT were Rajib Dutta, Professor, Department of Geography, Navmita Bhattacharjee, Ranjan K Baruah . The valedictory function was presided by Dr Hem Chandra Deka, i/c Principal, Dimoria College on 27th April. He had appealed students to use the skills learned at the ToT and utilize them in their life to become successful and ahead of others. The ToT was coordinated by Anup Dutta Baruah, Programme Officer of NSS of Dimoria College. Certificates were presented to all participants of ToT.
