National Education Social & Traditional Knowledge Foundation (NEST), Sivasagar handed over relief to the fire affected families at Borguri Mishing Gaon of Udoipur-Nitaipukhuri in Sivasagar district on Sunday. Members of NEST under the leadership of Punaram Mili, Charman and President of All India ONGC SC/ST employees Association, handed over food items, utensils and clothes to the deserted families. On last Friday (February 3), the houses of Umeswar Tai and Gobin Tai were completely gutted in a devastating fire.

The 25-year-old woman died at the Narayana Hrudalaya Hospital in Guwahati a few days after she was shifted from a private hospital in Biswanath Chariali.
