More pilgrims pouring in

 Over 10 lakh pilgrims are likely to visit the kamakhya temple premises on the occasion of the ambubachi fair which is underway.

 Talking to Assam Times, organizers said over 5 lakh pilgrims are on the way. Some of them have already reached the city to be brought to the venue by transport, train and ferry.

 “ We have the medical and disaster management team with us to be deployed as occasion demands,” said organizers.

 The authorities are working to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply to the camps along with comfortable sanitation and hygiene.
