Youth Cong resorts to RTI

The Indian Youth Congress of Kokrajhar Lok Sabha Youth Congress committee filed Right to Information alleging anomalies in results declaration in connection with  written test of Junior Assisttant on May 29 in Deputy Commissioner office in Kokrajhar.

The district administration,Kokrajhar witten test for the post of 9 Junior Asstt. and One post of Copiest in DC’s amalgamated establishment on May 24 and decalred their results on May 29 after four days of the test where 1870 candidates appeared in the test for both posts.

The administration declared the results where  53 candidates were allowed for  computer test for the post of Junior Asstt to be held on June 10 next while six candidates were allowed for Copuiest post.

Sambhu Mandal,President of Kokrajhar Lok Sabha Youth Congress has filed RTI under Right to Information,Act 2005 seeking detailed clear information about declaration of results that writen test for the post of Junior Asstt,Copiest held on May 24 conducted by District administration in Kokrajhar.

Mandal in his RTI has seek  detail of total names & Roll No. of appearing candidates for the post of Junior Asstt,zerox copies of answer script,names and Roll numbers of selected candidates in the written test and answer script copy of all appearing candidate for the post of junior asstt which was held on May 24,2015(Reference No.KPE19/2013/74).

Mandal alleged that district administration declared the results taking bribes while giving jobs in the district adminsitartion office.

He has warned to move to High Court if administration do not give detail reply.

The media persons contacted DC Kokrajhar Thaneswar Malakar regarding to RTI on anomalies,but he refused to give comments.

Mentioned be made that administration published the advertisement for the posts on January 28,2014 and  conducted the test on May 24,2015.

Security forces have intensified their combing operation against militant outfits in the region.  Three link men/over ground worker of the National Democratic Front of Boroland-Songbijit faction were apprehended by security forces in a joint operation at Ripu Reserve Forest on Sunday morning in Kokrajhar district. A businessman was hospitalized after attacked with sharp weapon by miscreants at Champa bazaar area on Friday evening in Kokrajhar district. An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
