The two days event is set to be held at the Pragjyoti ITA Machkhowa auditorium.
Organizers told Assam Times that a short film contest is lined up to hone the talents of the north eastern region. They said that it would be a good opportunity for the aspiring directors to showcase their networking opportunities.
The organizers want interested filmmakers submit short films, animations and documentaries with duration of 10 minutes or less. Last date of submission of entries is March 25.
The top 10 submissions will be screened at the Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival. The top three winners will not only be awarded with prize money worth over rupee one lakh but they will also get a chance to work with top Bollywood directors.
