Eerie silence in Sonai

One after another blasts seem to have kept Barak valley in eerie silence. Security forces have not been able to break the mystery behind the explosions which took place within hardly a week.

Yet another blast makes the security forces no less concern on Thursday where a 10year old boy sustained injury in Cachar district. The bomb exploded at Kazidahar village near Sonai in the evening leaving Zabir Husain Barbhiuya critically injured.

Led by additional SP (Cachar) Shankar Rai Medhi is investigating the explosion after they made an on the spot assessment. But the district administration is tightlipped on the progress of the findings.

Notably, three persons sustained injury when a powerful bomb exploded in Hailakandi town on Sunday. Three suspected persons were arrested in this connection.
