Rebel poets on Monday observed that they did not take sadistic pleasure at all in the killings.
Participating in panel discussion on “In the Shadow of Gun: Literature from a Conflict Zone” on the last day of the Guwahati Lit Fest, at least five rebel poets said that they have hardly any word to express the shock they got to have seen the bodies of even the enemies.
Responding to questions after questions posed to them from the audience, former ULFA leader Pranati Deka said that even in the jungles they tried to nurture creativity.
Another rebel turned poet Tushar Panging said that despite creativity in his minds, he found it quite difficult to concentrate on these due to lack of a climate.
