North East Musical Nite on Nov 22

The Hmar Welfare Society and the Hmar Students' Association Joint Hqrs Guwahati will jointly organised the first edition of North East Musical Nite here in the city on the November 22 at GMC Auditorium, Guwahati.

The event will feature Mizoram's top singer Mami Varte, the Alobo Naga & The Band from Nagaland who won the award for the best Indian act at MTV Europe Music Awards in 2012, nationally acclaimed singer and Indian Idol sensation Amit Paul. Besides this, several local artists and bands will also perform during this musical nite.
 
According to the organiser, the main motive of this musical nite is to raise fund for organising free coaching for the unemployed youth appearing in state and central services examinations and also aims at promoting artists from the region.
 
Tickets are already out for sale in selected oulets in the city, which are priced at Rs. 400/- and 1000/-. Tickets are available at Sony Centre - Christian Basti GS Road, Eastern Opticals - Opposite Hanuman Mandir, Sohum Emporia- GS Road, Sohum Emporia - ABC GS Road, Eastern Trend Hub - Bhangagarh and JBs G.S. Road.
