Come Wednesday. Three prominent figures from the cultural fraternity are likely to join BJP. The ruling party at the Centre has yet to formally announce it. But sources told Assam Times that singer Krishnamoni Chutia along with actor Jatin Bora and producer Pabitra Margherita are fully prepared to join the party. The trio are set to open the new chapter at a function in the party headquarters in Guwahati on Wednesday. BJP is trying to take some other prominent figures on the board with only one year is left for the assembly polls. They, mostly, belong to the cultural front who are in touch with the party president. The singer is believed to have got assurance from the party to be fielded in the Assembly elections in 2016.
