HANTIGIRI NARZARY, KOKRAJHAR: Come October 6. Kokrajhar is gearing up to host the 17th Daoharu Mungkhlong Football Trophy-2014. Altogether 12 teams have confirmed their participation in the clash for the coveted trophy. These include SBI, Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh),Dumdum Samanyay Samiti, Kolkata (West Bengal), Coochbehar MRSC(West Bengal), Gossaigaon Salbagan SC, Assam Rhino, Tezpur; City Police, Guwahati; FCI, Guwahati; Udalguri Elevent, Dotma DASA Elevent, Barhungkha AC,Kokrajhar and Rongjali Club Simlabagan Chirang. The match will kick start with the inaugural match between Barhungkha AC, Kokrajhar and Rongjali Club Simlabagan in Chirang. The winner of the trophy will be awarded cash Rs.50,000 and a trophy while runners-up team will be awarded cash Rs.25,000 and a trophy.
