Chief minister Tarun Gogoi has urged the people to judge the Congress governments in Delhi and Dispur by the performance during the last ten years.
Addressing a poll rally in Silapothar to campaign for Ranee Narah on Wednesday, Gogoi said the AGP-led govt in Dispur and the NDA government at the Centre has done precious little for the people of Dhemaji.
He said that his government would leave no stone unturned to give the backward areas a fresh lease of life. If the Congress is allowed to retain power, then it would be a big boost to the process of development in the flood ravaged district.
Then the chief minister left for Majuli by a helicopter.
